Some of the best shrimping is found in the Indian River, Mosquito Lagoon, Oak Hill and Edgewater area. October to late April the shrimp are supposed to be running the best. You can get everything you need at Sunrise Marina. A Florida Saltwater Fishing License, long handled dip net (with extensions), and a shrimp light.

Bottom Fishing:November can be the start of the bottom fishing bonanza! Grouper, Snapper and the possibility of Cobia!

Trolling: November also kicks off our winter run of Kingfish for those who prefer to troll. Wahoo and Sailfish can be found in good concentrations as well. Around the shrimp boats, the Blackfin Tuna can be tricked by either chumming or trolling.

Inshore: Flounder are still being caught in the Port. Snook will be red hot until the water cools below 72 degrees.

Surf Fishing: November is a great time to start thinking about pompano, along the surf and also in parts of the Indian River.
